iQOO 15R smartphone has been launched in India, and is available for pre-booking. The smartphone, priced at Rs 40,999, is being pegged as the slimmest smartphone in 7600 mAh category. “iQOO 15R is the slimmest smartphone with its width being 0.79 cm, amongst the smartphone launched in the battery category of 7600 mAh, as of 22nd January 2026,” says the company.

The company adds that the smartphone has been designed for multi-tasking and consists of a cooling system that has been engineered to stay composed under pressure. The iQOO 15R is being powered by Snapdragon 8 Gen 5, which brings flagship gaming speed, smooth visuals and intelligent performance. The device is being targeted especially at gamers.
The iQOO 15R runs on OriginOS 6 Smooth Engine, which incorporates features such as AI Magic Move and 4 Seasons-based personalisation to enhance user interaction and interface responsiveness. The device is also supported by a long-term software roadmap, with the company committing to four years of operating system updates and six years of security patches, aimed at ensuring sustained performance, security, and platform support over its lifecycle.
