Noventiq has announced the appointment of Rajendra Chitale as its Global Vice President Finance, marking a significant addition to the company’s leadership team. Chitale shared the update publicly, saying, “I’m happy to share that I’m starting a new position as Global Vice President Finance at Noventiq.”
Chitale brings with him a career spanning over three decades, blending senior industry leadership with deep consulting experience in mergers and acquisitions. His professional journey reflects a rare mix of hands-on CFO roles and advisory leadership across some of the world’s most respected professional services firms.
For over 20 years, Chitale worked in consulting, with a strong focus on M&A advisory, due diligence reviews, and transaction support. A key milestone during this phase was his role at BDO India, where he established and led the Due Diligence service line between 2010 and 2014. Starting from the ground up, he built teams across locations, set up policies and risk frameworks, drove business development, and scaled the practice into a profitable and respected unit.

In 2014, Chitale moved decisively into the industry, joining Crayon as CFO for India and later for South East Asia, the Middle East, and Africa. Over the next 11 years, he played a central role in building Crayon India from scratch, overseeing registrations, office set-ups, finance structures, legal frameworks, and long-term strategy. He also led funding initiatives, supported sales on commercial matters, and was closely involved in global M&A and post-merger integration efforts.
One of his notable achievements at Crayon was setting up a shared finance services team of more than 40 professionals in India, supporting multiple global subsidiaries. His regional responsibilities extended beyond India to include the Middle East and Africa, further underscoring his global exposure.
Earlier in his career, Chitale held senior roles at firms such as Ernst & Young, PwC, KPMG, and BDO, where he advised on complex M&A transactions, valuations, and corporate finance matters. He also spent time with the Times Group’s Brand Capital division, working on investment-led advertising deals, and began his career in financial journalism with The Indian Express, analysing companies, markets, and public issues.
In addition to his corporate roles, Chitale has also contributed to academia as a visiting faculty member at a management institute in Mumbai, teaching M&A for three years. With his extensive background in finance leadership, transaction advisory, and global operations, Chitale’s appointment is expected to strengthen Noventiq’s financial strategy and support its growth ambitions across markets.
