iPhone 17 will be launched, Apple has confirmed, at the Steve Jobs Theatre in Cupertino on 9 September. The latest announcement was made by Tim Cook, CEO, Apple. “Get ready for an awe dropping Apple Event on Tuesday, September 9!,” said Cook on X. iPhone 17 is expected to be launched in four variants namely iPhone 17, the new iPhone 17 Air, the premium iPhone 17 Pro, and iPhone 17 Pro Max.

While other product are also expected to be launched, the smartphone is being highly awaited by fans. Alongside the main announcements, Apple could reveal the Apple Watch Series 11, Apple Watch Ultra S, Apple Watch SE 3, and AirPods Pro 3. Wildcard surprises may also be in store, such as AirTag 2, a refreshed Apple TV 4K, and the next-generation HomePod mini 2.

Based on the event teaser image, Apple is expected to introduce a new design element for the iPhone 17. Reports suggest the company is developing a special color variant inspired by the Liquid Glass aesthetic introduced in iOS 26. The finish is described as a dynamic white that shifts subtly depending on lighting and viewing angle, giving the Pro series a refreshed visual identity.
The launch event is open to enthusiasts who wish to attend the event. “Please join us in person for a special Apple Event at the Steve Jobs Theater, Apple Park, on September 9, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. PT,” Apple has said. The event will also be streamed live across the official channels of Apple including YouTube, X, Facebook and its official website.
