Teciem has announced the appointment of Preeti Singh as its Chief Information Security Officer (CISO), strengthening its leadership in cybersecurity as the company continues to scale its global operations in treasury and capital markets technology. An industry veteran with over 15 years of experience in information security and risk management, Singh brings deep expertise in building resilient security frameworks, aligning cybersecurity with business strategy, and driving large-scale security transformations.

Prior to joining Teciem, Singh served as Director – Information Security & GRC at OSTTRA, where she led global governance, risk, and compliance initiatives. During her tenure, she played a key role in strengthening cloud security practices and advancing ISO 27001-aligned frameworks. She had earlier held the position of Associate Director – IT Security Risk and Compliance within the same organisation.
Before OSTTRA, Singh was Head of GRC at HCL Technologies, where she oversaw enterprise-wide risk and compliance programmes. She also served as Chief Information Security Officer at Aviva in India for over five years, leading cybersecurity strategy and implementation during a period of increasing digital adoption.
Her earlier stints include roles at Axis Risk Consulting, McGladrey, and Ernst & Young, where she worked extensively on IT audits, SOX compliance, data privacy, and risk advisory across sectors such as insurance, automotive, KPO, and education.
Over the years, Singh has led multiple complex client engagements, including IT general controls testing, internal audits, SSAE 16 reviews, and large-scale compliance programmes. She has also handled onsite audit assignments in the United States and has been recognised for her contributions with client appreciation awards and internal honours.
Known as an active industry speaker, Singh is recognised for her insights on cybersecurity strategy, vendor risk management, and evolving threat landscapes. Her appointment comes at a time when organisations are increasingly prioritising cyber resilience amid rising digital risks. Teciem, which serves over 340 financial institutions globally, including many of the world’s top banks, expects Singh’s leadership to further strengthen its security posture and support its next phase of growth in global markets.
