Yotta Data Services, the operator of the world’s second-largest and Asia’s largest Uptime Certified Tier IV Data Center, has announced the elevation of Rajesh Garg as President and Group Chief Information Officer (CIO).

Marking a significant milestone in his illustrious three-decade career, Garg shared: “I’m deeply honoured to take on the role of President and Group CIO at Yotta. Having joined Yotta Data Services Private Limited over four years ago, Garg has been instrumental in shaping the company’s digital and operational backbone. Prior to his elevation, he served as Senior EVP, Group CIO, Head of Operations, Service Delivery & CISO, overseeing IT and Non-IT Operations, Corporate IT, and Security functions for Yotta’s hyperscale facilities.
Under his leadership, Yotta strengthened its position as a trusted provider of AI-driven cloud and data infrastructure services, including the Shakti AI Cloud, Asia’s largest AI cloud ecosystem. Garg’s technology stewardship has been pivotal in enabling secure, high-availability operations for enterprises and government organizations alike. In his previous roles at Yotta, Garg led a range of strategic technology initiatives as Chief Digital Officer, spearheading the design and rollout of Everything-as-a-Service (XaaS) offerings for enterprises. His contributions include:
- Launching Yotta Smart Cybersecurity Framework with advanced services such as Managed Firewall, VAPT, DDOS & WAAP as a Service, and Smart CSOC.
- Building Yotta’s ERP Practice, facilitating SAP and Oracle certifications and establishing a unified window for enterprise ERP services.
- Pioneering SaaS-based industry solutions including ITSM, Document Management, University Management, and Industry 4.0 applications.
His initiatives have significantly advanced Yotta’s vision of providing integrated digital infrastructure and managed services under one roof.
With over 32 years of diverse experience, Rajesh Garg is recognized as one of India’s most accomplished technology leaders, combining technical depth with strategic foresight. His professional journey spans across leadership roles at Trident Group, Rolta India Limited, Nucleus Software, Infogain, InterraIT, and Rolta India Ltd., where he built a reputation for engineering transformation, operational efficiency, and business resilience. As CEO and Group CIO of Trident Group, Garg drove one of the largest SAP S/4HANA transformations in the Indian manufacturing sector, introduced Industry 4.0 automation, and led rapid digital enablement during the pandemic.
At Rolta India, he led the global IT transformation of a 31-year-old organization, setting up an award-winning 100% Virtual Datacenter and Rolta Private Cloud, achieving ISO 27001 and SSAE16 certifications, and managing remote infrastructure services for over 200 global clients. Earlier in his career, at Nucleus Software Exports, Garg built and led a $13 million global product support business and established high-availability infrastructure consulting practices, while also heading information security initiatives.
