Industry veteran Sanjay Rohatgi has taken on a new leadership role as Senior Vice President, Asia Pacific & Japan (APJ) at Automation Anywhere, a global provider of intelligent automation and agentic process automation solutions. Rohatgi announced his appointment this week, marking a new phase in a three-decade career across the global enterprise technology ecosystem.

With more than 30 years of experience driving growth across enterprise technology, cybersecurity, cloud, networking, and data management, Rohatgi has held senior leadership positions across global companies including Arista Networks, Cohesity, NetApp, Symantec, Cisco, Nortel, Telstra, and BHP Billiton. His background includes leading regional operations, full P&L responsibilities, and delivering transformation across APJ markets.
Rohatgi most recently served as Vice President and Country GM, India & SAARC at Arista Networks from April 2025 to November 2025. Prior to that, he was Group Vice President APJ at Cohesity, where he focused on AI-led data management, security, and protection. Earlier, as Senior VP & GM APJ at NetApp, he led initiatives in hybrid and multi-cloud, cybersecurity, data management, and digital transformation.
His tenure at Symantec included scaling business across the APJ region and delivering multi-year growth, including a major integration of Blue Coat Systems. At Cisco, he led the service provider business for India & SAARC and later served as President Director and Country Manager for Cisco Indonesia, where the company recorded significant regional expansion.
In his new role, Rohatgi will focus on operational excellence, regional growth, and democratizing intelligent automation adoption across industries, working with enterprise customers and partner ecosystems in APJ.
