Sberbank India has announced the appointment of Sanjay Singh as the new Head of IT Division. Singh brings with him more than 19 years of experience across enterprise IT operations management, infrastructure management, service delivery, project and program management, and compliance. Over the course of his career, he has successfully led large-scale IT transformations, greenfield project deliveries, and global infrastructure operations for leading organizations.
Sharing the news, Singh said: “I am pleased to share that I have joined Sberbank as the Head of IT Division. This is an exciting new beginning, and I truly value the support and encouragement many of you have extended to me throughout my career. I hope to continue receiving your guidance, collaboration, and good wishes as I step into this chapter at Sberbank India.”

Prior to joining Sberbank India, Singh served as Head of IT Infrastructure and Operations at GEDU Global Education and Global Head of Infrastructure & Information Security at UFLEX Group. He has also held leadership roles at AVI-OIL India, Alcatel-Lucent, and Reliance Energy Limited.
His career highlights include:
- Delivering IT infrastructure for three manufacturing plants for UFLEX in 2022–23
- Leading ERP implementations at AVI-OIL and Flexfood Ltd.
- Establishing IT & EMS policies, business continuity procedures, and ISO 27001 certification for AVI-OIL
- Driving enterprise IT strategy, global operations, vendor relations, and IT-enabled business transformation
With strong expertise in data center management, cloud applications, DevOps, compliance, governance, and strategic IT planning, Singh has a proven track record of enabling businesses to achieve operational excellence and digital transformation.
At Sberbank India, Singh will spearhead IT strategy and operations, ensuring scalable, secure, and innovation-driven technology systems to support the bank’s growth ambitions in the region.
