Caparo Engineering India Ltd, a key arm of the UK-headquartered Caparo Group, has announced the appointment of Atul Jain as its new Executive Director and Chief Executive Officer. Jain, who has been with the company for over 18 years, steps into the role following a distinguished career marked by strategic foresight, operational excellence, and marketing leadership.
In a LinkedIn update, Jain shared, “I’m happy to share that I’m starting a new position as Executive Director and CEO at Caparo Engineering.”

Jain joined Caparo in 2007 and has held various leadership positions including Vice President, Chief Operating Officer, and most recently, Executive Director and CEO of the Tubes & Fasteners business. Over the years, he has been instrumental in shaping the company’s marketing strategy, building strong customer relationships across OEM and retail segments, and spearheading business transformation initiatives across product divisions.
Known for his purpose-driven leadership style, Jain has led several key initiatives to enhance agility in marketing and business development, emphasizing a segmented approach to customer engagement. His cross-functional expertise spans marketing, budgeting, project management, product costing, and pricing strategy. Colleagues and peers commend his ability to cultivate high-performing teams and foster a culture of innovation and growth.
A postgraduate in Business Management (Marketing) and a graduate in Computer Science, Jain brings a blend of analytical thinking and strategic vision to his new role.
