Shrimuktai Mart Pvt Ltd has appointed Sandiip Kothaari as its new Chief Technology Officer (CTO), and has tasked him with aligning the company’s technology roadmap to its business expansion plans. Kothaari, who announced the move on LinkedIn, will lead initiatives for the organisations that are aimed at strengthening digital capabilities for e-commerce growth, engaging with private equity investors, and preparing the company for an eventual IPO.
In this role, Kothaari will oversee enterprise IT, platform development, and cybersecurity operations, while driving infrastructure modernization and process automation. His focus includes developing scalable technology systems, implementing data-driven decision-making tools, and enhancing customer experience through digital transformation. He will also lead compliance readiness in line with evolving regulatory requirements.

Kothaari has nearly 30 years of experience in technology leadership across retail, manufacturing, jewellery, hospitality, and consumer goods. He has a track record of implementing large-scale ERP systems, integrating e-commerce platforms, and introducing AI-driven analytics to support revenue growth. His recent tenure as CTO at Speciality Restaurants saw the introduction of QR code-based digital menus across multiple brands, evaluation and rollout planning for Microsoft Dynamics 365 ERP, and the design of AI-enabled CCTV analytics architecture, says his LinkedIN profile.
Previously, as Senior General Manager of information technology at ORRA Fine Jewellery, Kothaari implemented Microsoft Dynamics 365 ERP across 84 stores nationwide, led AI and machine learning analytics projects that contributed to a 24% revenue increase, and piloted customer experience enhancements through metaverse technologies. He has also served as CIO at Wonderchef Home Appliances, where he migrated core systems to the Azure cloud, integrated CRM platforms, and developed omni-channel retail capabilities.
His work at Prince Pipes and Fittings Ltd included establishing an Industry 4.0-enabled manufacturing plant, automating quality control processes, and embedding RPA and AI into finance and sales functions. Across roles, Kothaari has emphasized cross-functional collaboration, operational cost optimization, and team capability building.
At Shrimuktai Mart, Kothaari is expected to play a key role in scaling technology infrastructure to meet the demands of rapid market expansion, increasing investor scrutiny, and competitive retail environments. His appointment reflects the company’s strategic intent to position technology as a central driver of growth, operational resilience, and market readiness.
