    Alok Ohrie Joins Board of Subex

    Subex, a Bengaluru-headquartered provider of AI-driven telecom and enterprise solutions, has announced the appointment of Alok Ohrie to its Board of Directors, strengthening its leadership bench as the company sharpens its focus on agentic AI, fraud management, and data transformation platforms for global markets.

    Ohrie brings over 35 years of leadership experience across global IT and technology-enabled services, having held senior executive roles across some of the world’s largest technology enterprises. Most recently, he served as President and Managing Director of Dell Technologies India from 2013 to 2025, where he led the company’s strategic transformation from a PC-centric organisation to a comprehensive technology solutions provider spanning data centres, multi-cloud, cybersecurity, and digital infrastructure.

    During his tenure, Dell Technologies India emerged as one of the company’s fastest-growing global business units, driven by reimagined go-to-market strategies, a robust omnichannel ecosystem, and deep enterprise partnerships. Ohrie also championed a strong organisational culture focused on collaboration, inclusion, leadership development, and operational excellence.

    Prior to Dell, Ohrie held senior leadership positions at IBM, AMD, EMC, and Wipro, gaining extensive experience across enterprise sales, digital infrastructure, mergers and acquisitions, and large-scale business transformation. His career also includes leadership roles across Asia Pacific markets, contributing to enterprise strategy and market expansion initiatives.

    Beyond corporate leadership, Ohrie has played an active role in shaping India’s technology and manufacturing ecosystem. He has served as Chairman of ASSOCHAM’s Electronics Manufacturing Council and as a member of the NASSCOM Executive Council, contributing to national policy discourse and industry development.

    His professional recognitions include Best CEO for Diversity & Inclusion (2024), Impact Digital Power Business Top 100 Leader (2021), Distinguished Alumnus Award from NIT Karnataka (2020), and Most Innovative CEO of the Year (2019), among others.

    In addition, Ohrie mentors startups and innovation initiatives as a Super Mentor with the Atal Innovation Mission, and advises the USIBC India Advisory Council and the Ministry of Electronics and IT’s Digital India Electronics Mission.
