Infinia Technologies has appointed Arif Khan as its new Group Chief Executive Officer. The appointment comes as the company sharpens its focus on building sovereign AI and cloud infrastructure for enterprises and government sectors. Khan, who officially took over the role in January 2025, announced the move via a professional update: “I’m happy to share that I’m starting a new position as Group Chief Executive Officer at Infinia Technologies.” He is currently based in Abu Dhabi, where the company is headquartered.
Before joining Infinia, Khan was the Founder and CEO of Coredge.io, a company known for its work in building scalable, sovereign cloud platforms. During his four-year tenure at Coredge, he led product and go-to-market efforts targeted at critical infrastructure industries, governments, and hyperscale service providers. Khan also holds board-level experience at DFlare, a company focused on creating cloud-native workspaces for AI. In addition, he is the founder of ParserLabs India and has served as an Anuket Ambassador with The Linux Foundation.
His earlier roles include Co-founder and Head of System Development at VoerEir AB, where he led NFVI (Network Functions Virtualization Infrastructure) validation initiatives. He also spent nearly a decade at Ericsson, serving in positions including Chief Enterprise Architect and Head of Cloud PDU DevOps, and was part of the Young Advisory Board for the APAC region.
With over 18 years of experience spanning telecom, enterprise tech, and cloud-native development, Khan’s move to Infinia is expected to steer the company toward deeper regional and global partnerships, especially in the areas of digital infrastructure and data governance.
