Sharing the news, Ish Thukral said: “I’m delighted to share that I’ve assumed the role of Country Head at Neo4j, leading the India and SAARC business. As a leader in graph database technology, Neo4j empowers organizations to uncover hidden relationships and patterns in complex data, unlocking insights, driving innovation, and staying ahead of the curve.”
He added: “I’m excited to tap into the vast opportunities in the region driving growth, building a high-performing team, and fostering a customer-centric culture. With a strong focus on delivering exceptional customer experiences, I’m looking forward to collaborating with stakeholders to achieve success in industries like BFSI, healthcare, and the public sector, where graph database adoption can drive significant impact.”
During his time at AWS, Thukral played a key role in building strategic partner ecosystems and launched initiatives such as India’s first Marketplace Conclave, which later became a global model for customer engagement.
Reflecting on his AWS journey, Thukral had earlier shared: “From tackling complex challenges like the withholding tax through my first 6-pager, to spearheading pioneering initiatives like the Marketplace Conclave—each milestone was a testament to AWS’s culture of innovation. What truly sets AWS apart is its collaborative DNA. The blend of customer obsession, innovation, and bias for action creates an environment where ‘Day 1’ isn’t just a phrase—it’s a way of life.”
With Neo4j’s graph technology gaining traction across enterprises globally, Thukral’s appointment is expected to deepen the company’s engagement in the India and SAARC markets and unlock new opportunities for customers navigating complex data landscapes.
