Apple has launched iPhone 17e, and the smartphone will be made available to customers in India from 11 March onwards. The affordable addition to the iPhone 17 lineup is aimed at consumers who wish to own the premium smartphone but at a lesser price tag. The iPhone 17e is built on the latest-generation A19, and also also features C1X, the latest-generation cellular modem designed by Apple, which the company claims is up to 2x faster than C1 in iPhone 16e.

The smartphone has one 48MP Fusion camera, which enables an optical-quality 2x Telephoto. Additionally, 6.1-inch Super Retina XDR display of the iPhone 17e features Ceramic Shield 2, offering 3x better scratch resistance than the previous generation and reduced glare. iPhone 17e comes in matte finish, and is available in three colours namely black, white, and a new soft pink. The body features a durable but lightweight aerospace-grade aluminum design, which is splash, water, and dust resistant with an IP68 rating.

iPhone 17e Price in India, and Important Details
Customers in more than 70 countries and regions, including Australia, Canada, China, France, Germany, India, Japan, Malaysia, Mexico, South Korea, Türkiye, the UAE, the UK, and the US may start pre-ordering the smartphone, and here are the important details:
- iPhone 17e will be available in 256GB and 512GB storage capacities, starting at Rs 64900.
- Pre-orders for the smartphone will begin at 7:45 PM IST from 4 March onwards, and will be available from 11 March onwards.
- iPhone 17e Silicone Case with MagSafe will be available in six colours namely black, anchor blue, light moss, vanilla, bright guava, and soft pink for Rs 4900.
- Customers who purchase iPhone 17e may receive three free months of Apple Arcade, Apple Fitness+, Apple Music, Apple News+, and Apple TV with a new subscription.
- The smartphone needs an eSIM, and requires a carrier that supports eSIM and a wireless service plan.
