The highly awaited iPhone Air, iPhone 17 Pro, and iPhone 17 Pro Max, which were launched on 9 September 2025 in the Steve Jobs Theatre in Cupertino at the”Awe-dropping Event”, will go on sale in India starting 12 September 2025 from 5:30 PM onwards. The smartphones will be available for consumers from 19 September onwards.’

Croma will offer Apple’s new line-up across 574 stores across 206 cities and on www.croma.com. The prices are starting at Rs 82,900 for iPhone 17, Rs 1,19,900 for iPhone Air, Rs 1,34,900 for iPhone 17 Pro, and Rs 1,49,900 for iPhone 17 Pro Max. Apple has introduced the iPhone 17 with a 6.3-inch Super Retina XDR display, bringing ProMotion to a non-Pro model for the first time.
The device starts with 256GB of storage and supports a 10-minute fast charge that delivers up to eight hours of video playback. It also features a new Center Stage front camera and 48MP Fusion cameras. The iPhone 17 Pro lineup, meanwhile, includes a redesigned horizontal camera layout, the new A19 Pro chip, and updates to both display and thermal management, alongside other professional-grade enhancements.
Prebooking for Devices Other than iPhone Air and iPhone 17 Lineup
Apart from the new iPhone lineup, Apple has opened pre-bookings for the Apple Watch Series 11, Apple Watch Ultra 3, Apple Watch SE 3, and AirPods Pro 3, priced at Rs 46,900, Rs 89,900, Rs 25,900, and Rs 25,900, respectively.
The Apple Watch Series 11 introduces features such as hypertension notifications, Sleep Score, 5G cellular connectivity, and an upgraded Ion-X glass said to be twice as scratch-resistant. It also brings new Apple Intelligence tools including Workout Buddy and Live Translation, along with a brighter display.

The Apple Watch Ultra 3 adds built-in satellite communication for off-grid emergency messaging, the largest Apple Watch display to date, up to 72 hours of battery life in Low Power Mode, 5G connectivity, and navigation-focused updates such as the new Waypoint face. The Apple Watch SE 3 runs on the S10 chip and now includes an Always-On display, 5G support, and expanded health insights, including Sleep Score and apnea notifications.

Apple has also introduced the AirPods Pro 3, which include upgraded active noise cancellation, heart-rate monitoring, a redesigned acoustic system, five sizes of foam-infused ear tips, Live Translation with Apple Intelligence, longer battery life, and IP57 water and dust resistance.

As mentioned earlier, pre-orders for the iPhone 17 series will open on September 12 at 5:30 PM, with availability starting from September 19 at 8:00 AM. The Apple Watch Series 11, Apple Watch Ultra 3, Apple Watch SE 3, and AirPods Pro 3 will be available for pre-order from September 10 at 10:00 AM, also going on sale from September 19 at 8:00 AM. In-store pre-booking amounts have been set at rupees 2,000 for the iPhone 17, iPhone Air, Apple Watch Series 11, Apple Watch Ultra 3, Apple Watch SE 3, and AirPods Pro 3, while the iPhone 17 Pro and iPhone 17 Pro Max require a higher pre-booking amount of rupees 17,000.
