PwC India unveiled the Navigate Tax Hub, a generative AI-powered platform, now available to clients. Designed to revolutionise tax and regulatory functions, the platform which has been developed as part of the firm’s Vision 2030 strategy, leverages advanced AI, PwC’s tax expertise, and secure document integration to drive efficiency, accuracy, and value for tax teams. This marks a significant step in integrating next-generation technology into the core of business tax operations.
Navigate Tax Hub is a culmination of best-in-class GenAI technology, extensive domain expertise of PwC India and a comprehensive repository of relevant tax content powered by leading providers such as Taxsutra. “As a tech native business, we see technology not just as an enabler but as a catalyst for reinvention. Navigate Tax Hub exemplifies this shift. This also reflects our commitment to harnessing GenAI responsibly to support kal ka Bharat and help Indian enterprises navigate tax and regulatory complexities with confidence while shaping a globally competitive future,” said Sanjeev Krishan, Chairperson, PwC in India.
Designed to be an all-encompassing platform, Navigate Tax Hub delivers most of the routine requirements of tax professionals, such as deep research and analysis of complex tax matters, drafting common tax documents (such as legal submissions, tax position papers, SOPs), planning and analysing business transactions/contracts, etc. Unlike general-purpose tools, Navigate Tax Hub follows PwC’s proprietary logic powered by its deep expertise in the tax domain. This ensures that the responses are aligned with established tax principles, consider all relevant aspects of law, and addresses the risk of hallucination.
“Navigate Tax Hub marks a paradigm shift in how tax teams work and think. It signals the beginning of seamless AI-human collaboration, setting the new normal for the next generation of tax functions” said Siddharth Mehta, Partner & Tax Technology Leader, PwC India. Now that GenAI has reached an acceptable level of maturity, companies can look at holistic and meaningful transformation of their tax and finance function and realise benefits that were unimaginable before.
“With Navigate Tax Hub, we are redefining trust in tax technology. The platform is purpose-built to reference an organisation’s own documents, which are kept entirely secure. With anytime-anywhere access enabled through mobile app, MS Word plug-in, etc., this is a significant leap in integrating GenAI directly with the unique needs of the tax function,” said Kunj Vaidya, Partner and Tax & Regulatory Markets Leader, PwC India.
