    The client was operating on the legacy Magento 1 platform, which had reached end-of-life and was increasingly difficult to maintain. An initial migration attempt to Shopify with a third-party vendor proved unsuccessful — the project ran over budget, exceeded timelines by nearly three months, and left several technical issues unresolved. Additionally, the client’s internal team faced challenges adapting to the new platform due to a steep learning curve and lack of proper support.
