HyFun Foods has appointed Kuntal Patel as Head of IT Operations, strengthening its technology leadership as the company continues to scale its operations and digital capabilities. Announcing the move, Patel said, “I’m happy to share that I’m starting a new position as Head IT Operations at HyFun Foods.” In his new role, he will lead organisation-wide IT operations with a focus on infrastructure modernisation, cybersecurity, and digital transformation initiatives, aligning technology systems with business priorities to enhance productivity and operational efficiency.
At HyFun Foods, Patel will also play a key role in developing robust IT systems, strengthening cyber resilience, and fostering a people-first culture by mentoring young talent and working closely with cross-functional teams.
Patel brings over 19 years of experience in the IT industry, with deep expertise across IT infrastructure and datacentre management, cloud migration, cybersecurity, network security, and disaster recovery. Most recently, he served as Group Head of Infrastructure and Cyber Security at B&S Group, India, where he led enterprise-wide cybersecurity programmes, hybrid datacentre operations, cloud strategy across Azure, AWS and OCI, IT governance, risk management, and large-scale technology projects.
Prior to that, he was AVP of IT Infrastructure and Security at Rysun Labs, overseeing enterprise IT transformation, cloud adoption, SOC operations, and compliance-driven security frameworks. He has also held leadership roles at Baroda Global Shared Services Ltd as Assistant Vice President of Information Technology, where he aligned technology strategy with business objectives, and at Cygnet Infotech, where he spent over 17 years, including nearly nine years as Head of Datacenter.
A certified ITIL and ISO/IEC 27001 professional, Patel has consistently worked at the intersection of technology, security, and governance, driving scalable, secure, and compliant IT environments across industries.
