CapitaLand has elevated Prasad Y Tilve to the role of Vice President – Global Hyperscale Business and India Leasing, strengthening its leadership as the company accelerates hyperscale data centre expansion across Asia-Pacific while continuing to scale its India operations. In his expanded mandate, Tilve will support business growth across key APAC focus markets for CapitaLand’s Global Hyperscale business, alongside retaining responsibility for India sales and leasing across enterprise and hyperscale verticals. The move comes at a time when demand for large-scale, cloud-ready and AI-enabled data centre infrastructure is rising sharply across the region.

Announcing the development on LinkedIn, Tilve said, “Thrilled to announce my new role as Vice President – Global Hyperscale Business and India Leasing at CapitaLand. In this expanded role, I will support APAC focus markets business expansion for the Global Hyperscale business along with continued responsibility for India sales across the enterprise and hyperscale verticals. Tilve brings over 30 years of experience across business development, strategic planning, investments, product management, pre-sales, alliances and global sales within the data centre infrastructure and cloud ecosystem. His career spans hyperscale, enterprise and wholesale segments, with a strong focus on structuring complex large-scale deals, including colocation and build-to-suit data centre models.
He has been with CapitaLand for more than four years. Prior to his current role, Tilve served as Head – Strategy and Hyperscale Business Development, where he played a pivotal role in shaping the company’s India data centre strategy. His responsibilities included end-to-end P&L management, hyperscale deal execution, investment and acquisition initiatives, and future-proofing infrastructure through AI-ready data centre platforms. During this phase, CapitaLand set its objective of becoming one of India’s top three data centre operators by 2028.
Before joining CapitaLand, Tilve spent over a decade with NTT Global Data Centers and Cloud Infrastructure in India, holding leadership positions across strategic alliances and hyperscale business development, including work with global system integrators and government-led initiatives. Earlier in his career, he held senior sales and regional leadership roles with ADC Communications, TVS Interconnect, WQ India (Dhananjay Group), and other technology firms, building channel ecosystems and expanding data centre and networking portfolios across multiple regions.
With hyperscale demand in APAC being driven by cloud adoption, AI workloads and digital transformation initiatives, Tilve’s expanded role places him at the centre of CapitaLand’s regional growth strategy, while continuing to deepen its India leasing and enterprise engagement in an increasingly competitive data centre market.
