Samsung Electronics has launched the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7 in India, and has also begun accepting pre-orders for the smartphone. The company mentions that this smartphone is the thinnest and lightest Galaxy Z Fold series to date. Interested consumers may preorder the smartphone, and it is priced at Rs 1,74,999.

Specifications of Galaxy Fold 7
The device features an 8.0-inch QXGA+ Dynamic AMOLED 2X main display with an adaptive 120Hz refresh rate, designed for immersive multitasking and productivity. The outer cover screen is a 6.5-inch FHD+ Dynamic AMOLED 2X panel, also supporting a 120Hz refresh rate. Both screens are slightly smaller in usable area due to rounded corners and the camera hole.
The device weighs 215g. Camera hardware includes a rear triple camera setup with a 200MP wide-angle sensor with OIS, a 12MP ultra-wide lens, and a 10MP telephoto camera offering 3x optical zoom. The cover display houses a 10MP selfie camera, while the main display also features a 10MP front camera.

Powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite for Galaxy chipset, the phone offers three configurations: 16GB RAM with 1TB internal storage, 12GB RAM with 512GB, and 12GB RAM with 256GB. It is backed by a 4,400mAh dual battery system supporting fast wired charging (up to 50% in 30 minutes with a 25W adapter), Fast Wireless Charging 2.0, and Wireless PowerShare.
The Galaxy Z Fold 7 runs Android 16 with One UI 8 and is protected by Samsung Knox with Knox Vault. It features IP48 water resistance, Gorilla Glass Ceramic 2 on the cover, Gorilla Glass Victus 2 on the back, and an Armor Aluminum frame. Connectivity options include 5G, LTE, Wi-Fi 7, and Bluetooth 5.4. The device supports up to two Nano SIMs and multi-eSIM capability, with color options including Blue Shadow, Silver Shadow, and Jet Black.

Customers who pre-order the Galaxy Z Fold7 or Galaxy Z Flip7 will receive a complimentary storage upgrade valued at Rs 12,000. For those opting for the Galaxy Z Flip7 FE, a free storage upgrade worth Rs 6,000 will be included. All three models will also be available with up to 24 months of no-cost EMI, making it easier for consumers to spread out their payments. Pre-orders can be placed through Samsung Live, giving early buyers a chance to secure added benefits ahead of the official sale.
