What Are Google Google Fitbit Air Heart Health Features

One of the main reasons health monitoring devices like Google Fitbit Air are preferred is their ability to provide indicators of heart health. Google Fitbit Air allows users to monitor their heart rate variability (HRV) and track how it changes over time, including monthly trends. HRV refers to the variation in the time interval between consecutive heartbeats. It is an indicator of how the autonomic nervous system responds to stress, recovery, sleep and physical activity. Tracking HRV trends can offer insights into overall wellness and recovery patterns. However, Google clarifies that Fitbit Air is not intended for medical use.

Like other heart rate-tracking technologies, its accuracy may vary depending on an individual’s physiology, device placement, movement and activity levels. Users are advised to consult a healthcare professional before making any health-related decisions based on the data. Furthermore, Google clarifies that blood pressure trends, insulin resistance trends and high or low heart rate alerts are intended for general wellness and informational purposes only. These features are not designed to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any medical condition, nor should they be considered a substitute for professional medical advice.
