IT services, consulting and business solutions leader TCS has announced a partnership with French artificial intelligence company Mistral AI. TCS will be the partner for Mistral Forge, to build custom AI models for enterprises. This partnership brings together Mistral’s advanced AI technology and TCS’ strong understanding of enterprise customers, industry expertise, and engineering capabilities. Together, they aim to help companies adopt and scale AI faster, more efficiently, and in a responsible manner.

Mistral AI is a French AI startup started in 2023 by French AI researchers, Arthur Mensch, Guillaume Lample and Timothée Lacroix, who are former researchers and AI experts from companies like Google and Meta. The company was created with the aim of building powerful AI models that are more open, flexible, and accessible for businesses and developers.
In simple terms, Mistral AI builds large AI models, similar to the technology behind ChatGPT, that can understand and generate human-like text, help with coding, summarise information, answer questions, and support enterprise AI applications.
