The Atal Innovation Mission (AIM), an initiative of the NITI Aayog, is currently accepting applications for its ATL Tinkerpreneur 2024 program. The program is basically a summer bootcamp for which students from schools across India may apply. The 9-week bootcamp, which will be conducted virtually, aims at equipping students with 21st century digital and entrepreneurial skills to help them build their own digital ventures.

About the Atal Innovation Mission Program
AIM says that the ATL Tinkerpreneur 2024 program will leverage the knowledge and hands-on involvement of ATL Mentors of Change and combine it with insights from industry leaders and peer mentoring by Tinker Champs to provide students a thorough introduction to entrepreneurship. All interested students from class 6 to 12 may apply for the bootcamp. Some of the other important details to note are as follows:
- Top 100 students to will receive dedicated mentoring.
- Top 50 mentors will get special recognition.
- Additional rewards will be given to teams from aspirational districts and rural areas.
New Sessions Introduced
The bootcamp involves self-learning through an online web-portal combined with mentoring support. ATL Tinkerpreneur 2024 will also consist of the following new sessions that were unavailable in the previous years:
- Two new artificial intelligence digital skills.
- Mentoring sessions on digital skills and entrepreneurship by Tinker Champs.
- Addition of fun activities like comics, flashcards and puzzles.
What Will Be Taught to Students in Atal Innovation Mission Program
A group of changemakers called Tinker Champs will be conducting mentoring sessions for the benefit of their peers, as a part of the bootcamp. This year, students can gain the following entrepreneurship and digital skills:
- 20 digital skills through self-learning portal.
- Latest trends and knowledge to stay ahead of the curve.
- Assessment of the viability of business idea.
What Is Expected from Participating Students
The organisers have the following expectations from the participating students:
- Participants should be diligent and dedicated to learning, taking the quizzes and assignments, and completing the milestones of the bootcamp.
- Students need to be responsive to their team members, Mentor, and ATL Teacher.
- Attending the sessions organized by Mentors and AIM during the week and weekends is essential.
- They should remain self-motivated and energized to become entrepreneurs this summer.
