CBSE Class 12 result 2026 is likely to be announced soon, and the results will be available on DigiLocker. While an exact date has not been officially confirmed, the board is following its standard evaluation timeline, and is expected to announce the results in the third week of May. DigiLocker has issued a fresh update, indicating that the results will be announced soon. “CBSE Class XII Results 2026 Coming Soon on DigiLocker,” says a message from DigiLocker.
The senior secondary examinations were conducted by CBSE from February 17 to April 10 this year with a total of 18,59,551 students having appeared for the examinations. In the previous year, the board recorded an overall pass percentage of 88.39%, which was a noticeable improvement from the 87.98% that was recorded in 2024.

The results will be announced on the official CBSE website, CBSE Results NIC, Umang App, and DigiLocker. To download the provisional scorecard, students will have to keep the following credentials ready as mentioned on the respective admit cards:
- Roll Number
- School Number
- Admit Card ID
- Date of Birth
Students can also download their mark-sheets from DigiLocker using their Apaar ID. In case students do not have their Apaar ID, they can still create their DigiLocker accounts by doing the following steps:
- Visit cbseservices.digilocker.gov.in.
- Click on “Get Started”.
- Enter the details and access code provided by the school to every individual student.
- Verify the mobile number provided through OTP.
- The account will then be activated successfully
DigiLocker has also advised students: “Be ready to access your results instantly and securely on DigiLocker. Don’t wait till result day, activate your account now!” Apart from the platform students can also visit cbse.gov.in, results.cbse.nic.in, cbseresults.nic.in and digilocker.gov.in to view their results.
