“Starting something new. I have joined Persistent Systems as Head of ASEAN Sales,” Gour said in a LinkedIn post. Highlighting the opportunities in the region, he noted that ASEAN is at an inflection point where organisations are rapidly adopting AI, cloud and digital technologies. According to him, the focus has now shifted from deciding whether to invest in these technologies to successfully implementing them at scale.
“Persistent’s engineering depth and focus on real outcomes is the right platform to drive that impact across the region,”he added. Gour brings extensive experience in the banking, financial services and insurance (BFSI) sector, with expertise spanning AI-led transformation, cloud modernisation, consulting, sales and business execution. Having worked both as a banker and a technology consultant, he has built a strong understanding of the evolving needs of financial institutions across Asia.
Throughout his career, he has focused on helping organisations adopt emerging technologies to improve fraud detection, strengthen risk management, modernise legacy systems through cloud adoption, enhance customer experience and navigate the changing regulatory landscape. Before joining Persistent Systems, Gour served as Vice President, Business and Solutions – APAC at FPT Asia Pacific. Earlier, he held leadership positions at Wipro, DXC Luxoft and Accenture, where he spent nearly 15 years working across technology transformation, sales leadership and financial services.
