STL Networks Limited, operating under the Invenia brand, is set to create a wholly owned subsidiary to focus on its data-centre connectivity business as demand for AI infrastructure and hyperscale data centres continues to grow. The company said the proposed subsidiary will support its data-centre expansion plans and address the connectivity requirements of hyperscalers, data-centre operators and enterprises. The move is part of STL Networks’ broader strategy to expand its presence in the data-centre market. With data-centre campuses becoming larger and more complex, connectivity between data centres, cloud platforms, enterprise networks and telecom infrastructure is becoming an increasingly important requirement.

“Data-center customers are looking for partners who understand both the build and the network behind it,” said Chandrasekhara Rao Battula, Whole Time Director and Interim Chief Executive Officer, Invenia-STL Networks Limited. “We have built a strong foundation in digital infrastructure. This is the next step in extending that capability into connectivity, where we see a meaningful opportunity to support data-center operators, hyperscalers and enterprises as their requirements grow.” According to the company, the wholly owned subsidiary will build and own digital infrastructure and obtain the required telecom licences to provide connectivity services to customers.
The new entity is expected to give STL Networks a dedicated platform for data-centre connectivity and help the company develop an integrated offering covering infrastructure and connectivity services. The company said the move will also strengthen its presence across the AI data-centre ecosystem and allow it to pursue connectivity-led opportunities alongside its existing digital infrastructure business. As AI workloads move into production, data-centre infrastructure is increasingly required to support higher bandwidth, lower latency and connectivity across multiple environments. STL Networks is positioning the new subsidiary as part of its response to these evolving requirements.
Expanding digital infrastructure capabilities Invenia, the digital infrastructure services business of STL Networks, designs, builds, manages and transforms digital ecosystems for telecom companies, data-centre operators and large enterprises across India and the UK. Its portfolio includes connectivity, data-centre services, network and cloud solutions, cybersecurity system integration and managed services. The creation of the new subsidiary will therefore extend STL Networks’ existing infrastructure capabilities into a more focused connectivity business for the growing data-centre and hyperscale market.
