InMobi announced the appointment of Hema Namburi as its Group Chief Financial Officer (CFO). A company veteran with over 14 years of association with InMobi across two stints, Hema brings nearly two decades of experience spanning finance, audit, taxation and regulatory compliance. Hema has been serving as InMobi’s Global Financial Controller since 2018, playing a key role in managing the company’s financial operations across multiple geographies. Her appointment reflects InMobi’s emphasis on nurturing leadership talent from within while leveraging deep institutional knowledge and experience to strengthen its finance function.

Hema’s association with InMobi began in 2010, when she joined the company in its finance function and subsequently rose to the position of Senior Manager – Finance. During this period, she handled several critical responsibilities, including global financial reporting, revenue accounting, audit management, taxation, transfer pricing and financial compliance. After spending nearly two and half years as Vice President – Finance at FreshMenu, she returned to InMobi in 2018 as Global Financial Controller.

Earlier in her career, Hema worked with KPMG India, where she gained extensive experience in statutory audits, financial reporting and internal controls, including Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) compliance. She began her professional career with Infosys in 2006, working in financial planning and analysis, budgeting and financial modelling. A Chartered Accountant and a Cost and Management Accountant, Hema has also completed an Executive Programme in Applied Finance from the Indian Institute of Management Calcutta.
