Inetum Launches Inetum India in Partnership with AIONOS to Build AI-Native Global Delivery Capabilities

Inetum, Europe-based digital services and IT consulting companies, has announced the launch of Inetum India, a strategic initiative being established in partnership with AIONOS, as the company looks to strengthen its AI-native delivery capabilities and accelerate international growth. The initiative is aimed at enhancing Inetum’s delivery operations across key European markets including France, Belgium, Bulgaria, Poland, and the UK & Ireland region, while also enabling the company to respond to growing enterprise demand for AI-led digital transformation services. The partnership marks a significant step for both organisations as global enterprises increasingly seek AI-native delivery models capable of integrating automation, agentic AI, observability, cybersecurity, and enterprise-grade governance into business transformation initiatives.

Announcing the development, Jacques Pommeraud, Chairman and CEO of Inetum described the move as a strategic shift in how global IT services capabilities are being built for the AI era. “Inetum is one of the leaders in IT services in Europe. We are 27,000 consultants operating across 19 countries, and the vast majority of our business serves European customers. Today, customer demands are evolving rapidly. Enterprises are asking how they can benefit from AI in their business, and equally importantly, how IT projects themselves can be delivered using AI. That is why we strategically decided to build a new capability in India but not through a traditional offshore model. We wanted a step change. We wanted Inetum India to launch with top-tier AI-native delivery capabilities from day one,” Pommeraud said.

He added that the company was looking for a partner capable not only of providing technology expertise but also operational speed and execution agility. “Those capabilities will be powered in partnership with AIONOS, and we are extremely proud of this collaboration. The ambition is significant. We expect the talent we build here to help deliver impact for customers across Europe, spanning SAP, Salesforce, ServiceNow, Microsoft technologies, and increasingly data and AI transformation projects,” he said.

Why Did Inetum Choose This Particular Time to Launch Operations in India, Especially Amid Geopolitical Uncertainty, and Why AIONOS?

Addressing questions around the timing of the India expansion amid an uncertain global geopolitical climate, Pommeraud said customer demand and the urgency of AI transformation made speed a strategic necessity rather than a risk. “We are in the customer service business, and we respond to customer demand. Today, customers are specifically asking for offshore capabilities that are AI-native and best-in-class. There is never a moment of absolute certainty in business. Business is about navigating uncertainty,” he said.

“For us, the greater risk was not moving fast enough. Speed is becoming essential in the world of technology.” Explaining the choice of AIONOS as a strategic partner, Pommeraud pointed to the company’s entrepreneurial culture, execution capabilities, and AI-first operating model. “There are many reasons why we chose AIONOS, the entrepreneurship of CP Gurnani and his team, the company’s reputation, the talent we met, and above all, the speed from idea to execution. In just a matter of months, we moved from concept to reality, and very few organisations can operate at that pace,” he noted. He further clarified that the partnership was not a short-term decision but the outcome of months of evaluation and strategic alignment.

“This is not something we decided in two or three months. Over the last nine months, we had extensive discussions with the AIONOS team, evaluated customer scenarios, discussed real client challenges, and assessed how they would solve them. This partnership has been carefully built.”

Hemant LAMBA, CEO of Inetum Solutions emphasised that the partnership comes at a crucial time when Europe is accelerating AI adoption and seeking trusted transformation partners capable of combining European market understanding with India’s rapidly expanding AI talent ecosystem. “Europe today represents only about 7% of the world’s population, but nearly 25% of global GDP and almost 50% of public spending. That is the scale and importance of the market we operate in,” Lamba said. “Inetum has a deeply European DNA and serves more than 8,000 customers across the continent. What clients are now looking for is not just AI adoption, but AI implementation in the right, orchestrated, and governed manner.”

He added that India’s emergence as a global AI talent hub made the timing particularly relevant. “India is seeing AI adoption happen much faster than many other parts of the world. When we saw what AIONOS was building, an AI-native organisation from the ground up, we felt this was the right partner and the right moment.” According to Lamba, the partnership creates a differentiated positioning in the global IT services market. “If you ask whether there is a provider that truly understands Europe, has a European operating DNA, can provide offshore services from India, and does so through an AI-native model, then this partnership will stand out,” he said.

Building an AI-Native Enterprise Delivery Engine

Arjun Nagalupally, Chief Technology Officer of AIONOS said the company has spent the last two-and-a-half years building a fundamentally AI-native enterprise technology organisation focused on delivering measurable business outcomes rather than isolated AI experimentation. “Since inception, AIONOS has taken a realistic, value-based approach to enterprise AI. The focus has always been on how technology can create real enterprise value,” Nagulapally said.

Today, AIONOS has grown into a 2,100-member AI-native organisation focused on enterprise solutions powered by its proprietary AI platforms. He explained that the company’s architecture is built around four core pillars under its “Unistack” ecosystem. “At the foundation is Uniscale, which focuses on enterprise data fundamentals, data pipelines, and agentic observability at the data layer. Above that sits Univi, our agentic customer experience platform designed to present enterprises as a unified brand experience rather than disconnected departments,” he explained. Nagulapally said the company’s observability capabilities go beyond monitoring AI actions and instead focus on business impact measurement.

“We believe it is not AI giving technology, but AI driving value. Enterprises need visibility into how AI agents are performing, what business outcomes they are generating, and how ROI is being achieved. That is what our observability layer delivers.” He added that cybersecurity and governance remain central to enterprise AI adoption. “Our Uniprotect cybersecurity framework ensures that enterprise AI deployments operate within secure, resilient, and governed environments. As AI scales, governance becomes non-negotiable.”

CP Gurnani, Co-Founder and Vice Chairman, AIONOS described the partnership as a strategic alignment of capabilities aimed at building a next-generation global delivery organisation. “What is happening here is a strategic handshake. We are augmenting Inetum’s capabilities in India while also opening up the entire AIONOS ecosystem and our 2,100-member AI-native workforce to Inetum globally,” Gurnani said. “We are proud to be Inetum’s exclusive partner in establishing Inetum India. This mandate reflects exactly the kind of engagement AIONOS was built for.”

According to Gurnani, the new entity has been architected as an AI-powered delivery engine rather than a conventional offshore services operation. “We are bringing our people, technology stack, and delivery IP together to build a centre with intelligence embedded at its core. Built on operational continuity, progressive capacity ramp-up, and close team integration, Inetum India is designed to deliver a level of speed and precision that traditional models simply cannot match.”
