Startup Mahakumbh is all set to be held at at Bharat Mandapam, New Delhi. Scheduled to be held from 3 to 5 April 2025, the magnanimous event will bring together over 3,000 exhibiting startups, 1,000 investors, and international delegates from over 50 countries. The Government of India has been inviting startups to register for the event so that they receive the opportunity to pitch their business, build investor relationships, and secure crucial funding for growth. The event can also be a game-changer for startups as angel investors, venture capitalists, and corporate funds look for valuable startups to invest their money into.

Another reason for startups to register for Startup Mahakumbh is to take part in Startup MahaRathi Challenge, which is a flagship competition designed to identify and accelerate India’s most promising early to growth-stage startups across 10 key sectors, including AI, FinTech, HealthTech, Agritech, DeepTech, and more. Participants will receive national recognition by the Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade (DPIIT), mentorship from industry leaders, and funding opportunities from a Rs 30 Crore funding pool, with grants of up to Rs 5 Lakh for top startups.
In addition to this challenge, the event will also witness the Futurepreneurs Program that aims to provide a platform for young innovators from top colleges to showcase AI-driven solutions, and compete for a Rs 1 Crore prize pool, and gain mentorship from experts.
How to Register for Startup Mahakumbh
In order to be a part of the Startup Mahakumbh, interested new-age companies will have to undertake the following steps:
- Startups will first have to visit the official website of the Startup Mahakumbh.
- They will then have to choose the category they belong to, which could be startup, investor, or business visitor.
- An application for will then have two filled providing key details about the startup’s business, objectives, and interests.
- A payment request may then be sent, which will have to be completed.
- Upon successful registration, a confirmation email with event details will be sent to the registered startup.
