Indian Computer Emergency Response Team (Cert-In) has announced an internship opportunity for fresh graduates and students. The full time internship is a work based learning opportunity, wherein selected candidates would be hired for a period of six months. There are nine openings at present, which may vary based on the nature of the applications received. Selected candidates will also receive a monthly stipend of Rs 10,000.
Who Can Apply for Cert-In Internship?
The notification issue on the AICTE website says that engineering graduates currently in seventh and eighth semester as well as students in the last year of their masters can also apply for the opportunity. The qualifications required are as follows:
- Students with a BE or BTech in computer science, electronics, information technology, artificial intelligence, cyber security, electronics and communication, and electrical and electronics.
- MSc in information technology, or computer science.
- Master of computer applications.
Students will need to have relevant skills and interests in order to apply for the internship.
Domains Available for Internship
Students may choose to do their internship under the following domains:
- Cybersecurity incident response.
- Malware analysis.
- Vulnerability assessment and penetration testing.
- AI in cybersecurity.
- Cybersecurity skill development.
Important Details for Cert-In Internship
Interested details candidates need to note prior to submitting their application are as follows:
- Only SC, ST, women, and EWS candidates are eligible.
- Candidates in the seventh or eighth semester of a BTech program or those who graduated from BTech, MCA, or MSc programs within the last three years are eligible.
- Engineering graduates in their seventh or eighth semester must submit an NOC (No Objection Certificate) issued by their respective institutions before the interview.
