DRDO apprenticeship 2024 vacancies have been announced at the Advanced Centre for Energetic Materials (ACEM). ACEM is the composite propellant processing facility of the Defence Research and Development Organization (DRDO). The selected candidates will be engaged for a period of one year at the centre. The vacancies available are that of graduate apprentice and technician apprentice. Those selected for graduate apprentice will be paid a monthly stipend of Rs 12,000, and those selected for technician apprentice will be paid Rs 10,000.
Who Can Apply for DRDO Apprenticeship 2024?
Candidates who have successfully competed their bachelors degree may apply for the opportunity. In order to apply for the graduate apprentice vacancies, candidates need the following qualifications:
- BE or BTech in aerospace engineering or aeronautical engineering.
- BE or BTech in chemical engineering or chemical technology.
- BE or BTech in mechanical engineering.
- BE or BTech in computer and information science, computer engineering.
- BSc in computer science.
- BE or BTech in electrical or electrical and instrumentation engineering.
- BE or BTech in electronics and telecommunication engineering
- BSc chemistry.
- BSc physics.
In order to apply for the technician apprentice vacancies, candidates need the following qualifications:
- Diploma in mechanical engineering.
- Diploma in chemical engineering.
- Diploma in electrical engineering.
- Diploma in electronics engineering
- Diploma in computer science, computer science and information technology, and web designing.
