Blue Tokai Coffee Roasters has appointed Pranav Dahiya as its Chief Business Officer, strengthening the leadership team of India’s largest specialty coffee brand as it continues its expansion across domestic and international markets. Dahiya brings nearly two decades of experience spanning consumer businesses, finance, strategy, corporate banking and business transformation. Prior to joining Blue Tokai, he served as Chief Financial & Strategy Officer at Pizza Hut India and was a Board Member at Yum India, where he led financial strategy and business planning.
Before that, he spent over four years at Chaayos, first as Chief of Staff and later as Chief Financial Officer. During his tenure, he played a key role in scaling the company’s cloud kitchen business, leading sourcing, warehousing and logistics operations, driving strategic planning and FP&A, and overseeing the acquisition of a cookie and coffee brand. He also managed sourcing, legal, compliance and project functions while helping strengthen operational efficiencies.

His earlier career includes leadership roles at Hero FinCorp, where he handled wholesale and structured finance and venture debt, as well as nearly five years at Kotak Mahindra Bank managing multinational corporates and large conglomerate relationships. He also spent seven years at ING, working with emerging corporates and international clients on corporate banking and cross-border financial solutions.
The appointment comes at a time when Blue Tokai is accelerating its growth journey. Founded in 2013 as a coffee roastery, the company has emerged as India’s largest and fastest-growing specialty coffee brand, with a mission to make premium Indian coffee more accessible across formats. Today, Blue Tokai operates four roasteries and more than 150 cafés across key markets including Delhi NCR, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Kolkata, Chandigarh, Mohali and Pune, while also expanding its international footprint through operations in Japan and Dubai. The brand has also established partnerships with leading retail chains, luxury hotels and restaurants, corporates and co-working spaces.
