CBSE 2025 results is expected to be announced soon. However, a fake notification is being circulated, which claims that the results have been announced on 6 May 2025. The letter dated 2 May 2025 has gone viral across platforms and has spread misinformation on the CBSE 2025 results.

The fake letter reads as follows:
“We are pleased to announce the results of the CBSE Class 10 examinations for the academic year 2024-2025. The hard work, dedication, and resilience of our students have borne fruit, and we congratulate each one of you on your achievements. Here are the key details regarding the CBSE Class 10 Result 2025.
- Result Date: The CBSE Class 10 results will be officially declared on the 6th May 2025 at 11.00 am.
- Result Availability: You can check your results on the official CBSE website: CBSE Result Portal.
How to Check Results: Use your admit card number, roll number, and school number mentioned on the admit card to access your result.
Passing Criteria and Grading System: Students must obtain an overall score of at least 33% in all board examination, to pass the CBSE Class 10 Result 2 of birth, marks achieved in each subject, and class.”

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has debunked this letter, and asked students to rely on only cbse.gov.in for authentic information. “A letter dated 2 May 2025 is being circulated on social media. This letter is fake. It has not been issued by CBSE. No official announcement has been made regarding the declaration of Class X/XII 2025 results. We urge students, parents, and stakeholders to: Avoid sharing unverified news, and rely only on official sources.”

While the official date of CBSE 2025 results are not known, in 2024, CBSE announced results for Class 10 and Class 12 board exams on May 13. In 2023 it was announced on May 12. In 2022 and 2021, the dates were July 22 and August 3, respectively.
