Last year, the popular instant messaging software WhatsApp launched the Meta AI conversation helper. The chatbot is now apparently being rolled out to select Indian consumers. According to reports, certain people on the main chat list can access the Meta AI symbol. For those who are aware, Meta AI assistants can “interact like a person” and have access to real-time information via Bing in text-based discussions and picture production capabilities. Meta is testing its generative AI chatbot, Meta AI, within the WhatsApp messaging app. This pilot program is currently limited to select users in India.
According to Gadgets360 and X users, the symbol is above the new chat icon in the bottom right. According to the claim, the option vanished after displaying briefly on the app. The ‘Meta AI’ account’s label will be ‘# with Llama #.’ The ‘Ask Meta AI anything’ text follows various instructions that users can use to communicate with the model.

“In a group conversation, Meta AI can only read messages, including @Meta AI and not others. Meta AI cannot be integrated into communication by Meta or WhatsApp,” it stated. Furthermore, it said that the messages may not be truthful or suitable. As a result, you may also provide feedback to Meta using the ‘Good answer’ or ‘Bad reaction’ options.
