Pramod Mundra has been named as the new President and Chief Information Officer (CIO) at Havells India Ltd., a leading electrical goods company. The announcement was made by Mundra himself via a LinkedIn post, where he shared, “I’m happy to share that I’m starting a new position as President & CIO at Havells India Ltd!”
Mundra, who previously served as Executive Vice President and CIO at Havells, brings over two decades of extensive experience in leading digital transformations across sectors. Prior to joining Havells, he held key roles at Samsung, Eli Lilly and company, and Oracle, contributing to business process innovation, automation, and global strategy.

With more than 22 years of professional experience, Pramod Mundra has spearheaded organization-wide digital mandates aimed at reshaping businesses and driving measurable impact. His leadership is known for integrating innovation and technology to deliver value across industries such as BFSI, pharmaceuticals, mobile, and consumer goods.
He has a proven track record in managing end-to-end digital initiatives right from ideation to implementation, budgeting to ROI evaluation. He has also held responsibilities in business development and P&L management, showcasing his versatility across business and tech functions.
An alumnus of IIM Ahmedabad (PGPX), Mundra holds expertise in business process consulting, corporate and technology strategy, analytics-driven decision-making, and change management. He is also a certified Six Sigma Green Belt, known for his structured approach to operational excellence.
With international exposure in markets like the USA, China, Middle East, and India, and a strong background in people management and cross-cultural collaboration, Pramod Mundra is expected to drive Havells’ digital agenda to new heights.
