Genese Solution has appointed Sarad Banjara as its Managing Director, with the technology executive taking on a broader mandate to drive the company’s international growth, geographic expansion and strategic partnerships. Banjara will work closely with Genese Solution CEO Anjani Phuyal and the company’s global leadership team as he takes charge of the organisation’s expansion agenda. His responsibilities will include international market development, strategic partnerships, diplomatic and government relations, and strengthening Genese Solution’s presence across global markets.
Announcing his appointment, Banjara said the new role would focus on building the company’s global footprint while creating opportunities for long-term growth: “I’m pleased to share that I have been appointed Managing Director at Genese Solution. In this role, I’ll work closely with our CEO and Global Leadership Team to drive geographic expansion, strategic partnerships, diplomatic relations, and government relations, while strengthening Genese’s global presence and accelerating our international growth.”

Banjara moves into the Managing Director role after serving as Country Director at Genese Solution from July 2025 to August 2026. In that position, he led the company’s regional business across Nepal, India and Bangladesh, with responsibility for market expansion, enterprise growth, strategic partnerships and ecosystem development across cloud, cybersecurity, data, AI and digital transformation.
His elevation comes as Genese Solution looks to strengthen its position across international technology markets and build new relationships across its ecosystem. The company’s focus areas span cloud and digital transformation, with Banjara’s new mandate bringing together business expansion, partnerships and government engagement as part of its global growth strategy.
Banjara brings experience in building and scaling technology businesses across international markets. Before joining Genese Solution, he co-founded Calilio and served as its Managing Director between January 2023 and April 2025, where he was involved in business strategy, product development, international expansion, partnerships and organisational growth. He also served as Chief Executive Officer at Varosa Technology for eight years, from May 2017 to April 2025. During his tenure, he led the company’s growth from an early-stage operation with one employee into a technology company with more than 100 employees, while expanding its international business across multiple markets and technology portfolios.
Earlier, Banjara was CEO of Veda Enterprises, where he led the company’s technology distribution and sourcing business in Nepal, focusing on international supplier relationships, business development, partnerships and market expansion. Commenting on his appointment, Banjara acknowledged the support of Genese Solution’s leadership, customers and partners: “I’m grateful to our CEO, Anjani Phuyal, for his trust, confidence, and mentorship, and to our leadership team, colleagues, customers, partners, and mentors who have supported me throughout this journey.” He added that he was looking forward to contributing to Genese Solution’s next phase of growth: “I take this responsibility with great enthusiasm and look forward to contributing to the next chapter of Genese’s global journey and creating meaningful value for our people, customers, and partners.”
