Tata Communications has appointed Vivek Srivastava as Executive Vice President and Business Head – Cloud and Cyber Security Services, strengthening its leadership team as the company expands its cloud, cybersecurity and AI-driven digital infrastructure capabilities. Srivastava joins Tata Communications after serving as Country Manager at Fortinet India and SAARC, where he led one of the company’s largest and most mature cybersecurity businesses. He brings over two decades of experience across cybersecurity, enterprise technology and go-to-market leadership, having also held senior leadership roles at CrowdStrike, Cisco, and IBM.

Throughout his career, Srivastava has focused on building and scaling cybersecurity businesses across enterprise, service provider and government markets. He has led cybersecurity organisations from early-stage operations into multi-hundred-million-dollar businesses by strengthening portfolio strategy, expanding partner ecosystems and driving operational excellence.
One of the defining milestones in his career was doubling a large nine-figure business in nearly two years through sharper portfolio strategy, improved go-to-market execution, enhanced partner productivity and disciplined operating governance. He has also built and led multi-functional teams of more than 250 professionals across sales, pre-sales, systems engineering, product specialists, business development and partner ecosystems, with a strong emphasis on leadership development and building scalable organisations.
Before joining Tata Communications, Srivastava spent nearly four years as Country Manager at Fortinet India and SAARC, where he drove platform-led cybersecurity growth and ecosystem expansion. Prior to that, he served as Regional Sales Director for India and SAARC at CrowdStrike and spent over 11 years at Cisco India and SAARC as Regional Sales Leader for Cyber Security. Earlier in his career, he was Country Channel Manager at IBM India for Internet Security Systems.
Beyond his operational leadership, Srivastava is a recognised voice in the cybersecurity industry. He has regularly shared insights on AI-driven security, evolving cyber threats, post-quantum cryptography, converged IT-OT security and broader cybersecurity trends through interviews, expert columns, podcasts and industry forums. He also actively participates in discussions around India’s digital transformation and believes cybersecurity has evolved into a critical business function that underpins enterprise resilience, trust and long-term digital growth.
His appointment comes at a time when organisations are increasingly prioritising secure cloud adoption, AI integration and cyber resilience as part of their digital transformation strategies. With his extensive experience in scaling cybersecurity businesses and leading high-performance teams, Srivastava is expected to play a key role in expanding Tata Communications’ cloud and cybersecurity services portfolio globally.
