Value of Partnerships and Customer-First Growth: Sandeep Shahapurkar, Searce Inc

Strong partnerships go beyond commercial agreements. They bring together complementary expertise, operational support and shared business priorities to help organisations scale, serve customers better and respond to evolving technology needs. In this interaction with Tech Achieve Media (TAM), held on the sidelines of the SoftwareOne and AWS Pinnacle Partner Summit, Sandeep Shahapurkar, India Sales Head at Searce Inc, discusses the value of the SoftwareOne partnership, the role of technology and operational support in driving business growth, and how a shared customer-first approach strengthens collaboration between organisations.

TAM: From your experience, what makes a partnership with SoftwareOne valuable when you are looking to scale your business?

Sandeep Shahapurkar: Typically, when we look at SoftwareOne, there are three to four parameters on which I evaluate them. The first one is definitely a financial parameter, wherein we make sure that we are getting more advantage to our organisation. But the second and third are more important beyond financial benefits as well. One is operational benefit. A lot of the time, I see the SoftwareOne team working as an extended help to me. While my team is in the market searching for new customers and managing existing customers, SoftwareOne extends a lot of helping hands to manage it. The third one is definitely a technological advantage. Being a SoftwareOne licensing and cloud company, they come with a lot of knowledge. A lot of the time, their experience helps us to do the deal in a better way. These are the three parameters that really help me ensure that they are the right partner for scaling the business.

TAM: If you had to sum up the value of the Pinnacle event for partners in one sentence, what would it be?

Sandeep Shahapurkar: Since I have been here for the last one hour, I find that the energy on the podium is very high. I would say this reflects the change in the organisation, which brings a lot of energy. I hope we are able to use this energy to scale our business in a much better way.

TAM: From Searce Inc’s perspective, what stands out about the AWS and SoftwareOne partnership?

Sandeep Shahapurkar: I would say the DNA of both the companies is the same. For me, one sentence says it all: customer first. For Searce also, the customer comes first, and I have seen the way SoftwareOne has responded. They also believe in CustomerOne, and that is where the DNA matches and our partnership looks strong.
