The official website mentions that candidates with a two year full-time MBA, MMS, PGDBA and PGDM course from the following streams can apply for the job opportunity:
- Marketing.
- Finance.
- Operations.
- Supply chain management.
- Information technology.
- General management.
- Business analytics.
- Project management.
- Human resources.
Apart from the above mentioned qualifications, candidates also need to have a minimum aggregate of 60% or equivalent CGPA in class 10th, 12th, diploma, graduation and post-graduation. The website also mentions that candidates having up to one backlog may appear for the selection process. However, if offered, all backlogs should be cleared by the candidate within the stipulated course duration.
In addition to this, candidates with prior work experience, either part-time or full-time, of only up to two years are eligible to apply for the TCS MBA Hiring Process, says the website. Candidates who have completed their secondary and/or senior secondary course from National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS) are also eligible to apply if the graduation and post-graduation courses are done full-time.

The duration of the assessment would be 90 minutes and has been split into the following three sections:
