IndiGo Appoints Kiran Thadimarri as Chief Financial Officer

IndiGo has announced the appointment of Kiran Thadimarri as its new Chief Financial Officer (CFO), marking a significant leadership addition as India’s largest airline continues its growth journey. Sharing the announcement, Thadimarri said he was honoured to begin his new role at InterGlobe Aviation (IndiGo) and expressed gratitude to the company’s leadership for placing their trust in him.

Thanks to the amazing team I had the honor of leading, and the executive team at IGE building leadership across the travel, tech, hospitality and logistics spectrum,” said Kiran Thadimarri.

Thadimarri joins IndiGo with over two decades of experience in finance leadership across aviation, technology, healthcare and industrial sectors. Before joining IndiGo, he served as Senior Vice President – Finance at udaan.com, where he led the company’s finance function from March 2024 to November 2025. Prior to that, he was Group Finance Controller at the Bengaluru-headquartered B2B e-commerce platform from June 2021 to March 2024. Earlier, Thadimarri was Co-founder and Chief Financial Officer at GENWORKS Health, where he spent nearly seven years building the healthcare venture’s financial and operational capabilities.

His career also includes several leadership roles within the General Electric (GE) ecosystem. He served as Chief Financial Officer, GE Water India, and earlier held finance leadership positions at Wipro GE Healthcare, including FP&A Manager and Finance Manager – Clinical Systems. He began his career with GE after completing the company’s prestigious Financial Management Program, followed by a stint with the Corporate Audit Staff. Thadimarri’s appointment comes at a time when IndiGo is expanding its international footprint, strengthening its fleet and enhancing its long-term operational capabilities. His extensive experience in financial strategy, governance and business transformation is expected to support the airline’s next phase of growth.
