Cdr Sanjeev Singh (Retd), a seasoned cybersecurity expert with over 27 years of experience, has been named Partner at Deloitte. Singh, who recently served as the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) and Data Protection Officer (DPO) at Birlasoft, is now set to focus on Cyber Incident Response and Technology Resilience within Deloitte’s Cyber Defense and Resilience practice.

During his three-year tenure at Birlasoft, Singh spearheaded multiple cybersecurity and data protection initiatives, leaving a legacy of innovation and resilience. Before Birlasoft, Singh played a pivotal role at Virtusa, where he led Cyber Detection and Response efforts, and at Deloitte, where he contributed to SOC services, Threat Monitoring, Incident Response, and Cloud Security initiatives.
Notably, Singh also led secure digital transformation projects for the Indian Navy, implementing advanced cyber-secure solutions across prevention, detection, and response verticals. His illustrious career reflects a blend of technical expertise and strategic leadership, earning him recognition as a member of the GIAC Advisory Board and the prestigious Beta Gamma Sigma international business honor society.
