The highly awaited Vivo V80 has been launched in the India market, and is currently available for pre-orders. Available in three colours namely Sunrise Anthem, Horizon Blue, and Stellar Black, the smartphone costs Rs 62,999 for the 8GB+128GB variant, Rs 69,999 for the 8GB+256GB variant, and Rs 79,999 for the 8GB+512GB variant. While the pre-booking for the Vivo V80 begins today, the smartphone will be available on the vivo official website, Flipkart, Amazon and all partner retail stores from 13 October onwards.

The vivo V80 comes with a 6.59-inch 1.5K OLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate. It is powered by the Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 processor and packs a 7200mAh battery, the largest in the V-Series, with support for 90W FlashCharge. The phone is 7.6mm thick and weighs 203g, and comes with an aluminium alloy frame and glass finish. It also has IP68 and IP69 dust and water resistance for added durability. For photography, the vivo V80 features a 50MP ZEISS Night Telephoto Camera with a Sony IMX882 sensor, OIS and 3X optical zoom. It also supports up to 10X Zoom-In Portrait and has a 50MP ZEISS Group Selfie Camera with a 92° wide-angle lens. For video recording, the phone supports 4K at 60fps and offers three built-in cinematic styles, modern movie, vibrant and pastel. The phone runs on OriginOS 7 and is promised six years of security updates.

Consumers can pre-book the vivo V80 with an Easy EMI of Rs 2,625 per month for 24 months under a zero down payment scheme, through vivo’s authorised finance partners. Customers can also choose the Rs 101 payment option under the applicable zero down payment scheme. Those looking to use a bank card can get 10% instant cashback with eligible cards from SBI Card, HDFC Bank, IDFC First Bank, Kotak Mahindra Bank, American Express, DBS Bank, BOBCARD and YES Bank, as well as through UPI. Customers can also opt for an up to 10% V-Upgrade exchange bonus when they exchange an eligible old device.

For online purchases through vivo.com, Flipkart and Amazon, customers can choose the Rs 2,625 monthly Easy EMI option, get a 10% instant discount on selected bank cards, or avail a 10% exchange bonus. The online purchase also comes with a one-year free extended warranty and six months of Google One 100GB cloud storage. Customers can additionally get up to 40% off on V-Shield, which covers screen damage protection and extended warranty plans. The company has also announced a 50% discount on selected annual JioHotstar plans, though this offer is expected to go live later and is not available yet.
