Dilip Kumar Ganta Appointed National Head – ESH at Indus Towers

Indus Towers Limited has announced the appointment of Dilip Kumar Ganta as its National Head – Environmental, Safety, and Health (ESH). Dilip Kumar Ganta, who previously served as Circle CEO at Indus Towers, brings over 30 years of cross-industry leadership experience spanning Telecom Infrastructure, FMCG, Broadband, and Media.

At Indus Towers, he spearheaded the management of one of India’s largest and highest-revenue operational circles, with comprehensive P&L responsibility across network operations, finance, enterprise sales, acquisitions, government relations, HR, legal, and deployment.

During his tenure as Circle CEO, Ganta achieved significant milestones, including:

• Delivering cost optimization and driving digital operations transformation.
• Leading tower tenancy growth while collaborating with telecom operators for 5G readiness and site automation.
• Strengthening on-ground safety, ESG metrics, and vendor governance.
• Promoting diversity and inclusivity across operations.

Ganta’s leadership has been instrumental in aligning Indus Towers with India’s rapid digital transformation, particularly in the rollout of 4G/5G networks and fostering safety-first project execution. Recognized for his strategic foresight and on-ground execution, Ganta’s career highlights include scaling broadband services at YOU Broadband, driving business transformation as UP West Circle Business Head at Vodafone Idea, and contributing to consumer insights and market strategies in leadership roles at Parle, PepsiCo, Perfetti Van Melle, Coca-Cola, and HT Media.

Dilip Kumar Ganta is known in the industry for his ability to lead strategic growth and P&L management, coupled with his expertise in telecom infrastructure, including 4G and 5G deployment and tower operations. He has a proven track record in advancing rural connectivity and last-mile access, alongside his strong foundation in sales, distribution, and marketing across FMCG and broadband sectors.
