OnePlus is gearing up to launch its latest flagship, the OnePlus 13S, in India this month. The smartphone will arrive in three color options, namely Pink, Black, and an India-exclusive Green, thus marking another move by the company to cater to regional tastes. The OnePlus 13S is expected to feature a 6.32-inch flat OLED display with a 1.5K resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. With a peak brightness of 1600 nits, the screen is designed for sharp visuals in various lighting conditions. The device weighs 185 grams and includes a metal frame, offering a robust build. Additionally, it is likely to come with an IP65 rating, providing basic protection against dust and water.

The smartphone will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite processor, paired with UFS 4 storage, aimed at delivering swift and efficient performance. A 6260mAh battery powers the device, with 80W wired charging support for quick recharges. The OnePlus 13S includes a triple-camera system, led by a 50MP IMX906 sensor with Optical Image Stabilization (OIS). A 50MP 2x telephoto lens and a 16MP front camera round out the setup, which is positioned to handle a variety of photography needs. Additional features like infrared capabilities and dual-LED flash enhance its utility.
OnePlus has committed to providing four years of Android updates and five years of security patches for the 13S. This move aligns with the industry trend of extending software support to improve device longevity. The announcement that is grabbing eyeballs is the India-exclusive Green color variant. While Pink and Black remain standard, the Green edition underscores the brand’s strategy of offering region-specific designs to appeal to local buyers.
