OPPO Find X10 Series will be launched in India in the coming weeks, with Goldee Patnaik, Head of Communications, OPPO India, confirming the India launch at MediaTek Tech Day: The Next Leap in New Delhi. The Find X10 Series, which has already been launched globally, will be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9600 Pro platform. The upcoming launch marks another step in OPPO and MediaTek’s long-running collaboration, with the two companies continuing to focus on closer hardware-software integration across OPPO’s flagship Find X portfolio. Speaking at the event, Patnaik highlighted the significance of the tenth generation of the Find X Series and its positioning around imaging, engineering and performance.

“Find X Series turns 10. It is one of the most favourite devices for creators, Gen Zs and those who are making content very seriously. Having passed 10 generations of the Find X Series, what has driven it most and what is the name it has drawn from people? Excellence in imaging, robust innovation and a lot of engineering precision, design precision and professional excellence in performance,” said Goldee Patnaik, Head of Communications, OPPO India.
According to Patnaik, imaging remains a key pillar of the Find X proposition. The series features imaging technology co-developed with Hasselblad and powered by OPPO’s Lumo Image Engine, with the company positioning the devices for both photography and video creation. “Imagine somebody sitting in a concert at the back and wanting to be as close to the stage. For that person, the Find X line or the Find X Series is meant. Imagine somebody who wants to create content in a cinematic style, both photos and videos. That’s what Find X Series is meant for,” he said. Patnaik also positioned the Find X Series as more than a camera-focused flagship, pointing to engineering, design, software, battery and durability as key elements of the overall flagship experience.

“Beyond the camera leadership, Find X has again been a testimony of what a true flagship is defined. Excellence in imaging is there, engineering precision, design aesthetics, a solid operating system which makes your movements completely flawless, battery and durability, all the links in the box when you have. That’s a professional flagship, what we define,” he said.
Patnaik said the response to the Find X portfolio in India has strengthened OPPO’s focus on the market, with successive launches receiving positive feedback from users. “Since the time Find X Series has been launched in India, whether it is Find X8, then we launched Find X9, Find X9 Pro, Find X9S, the response from our users has been fantastic. And that’s why you will see year after year, we are being encouraged by this response,” he said.
He added that OPPO is continuing to focus on bringing its engineering and innovation capabilities to Indian consumers through the Find X portfolio. “We are working very seriously in bringing in the best of OPPO engineering and OPPO’s innovation in giving users the Find X Series experience. This is the reason I would say India becomes a very important market for Find X Series,” Patnaik said. The upcoming Oppo Find X10 Series also continues OPPO’s collaboration with MediaTek, with Patnaik highlighting the companies’ focus on integrating hardware and software to maximise chipset performance. “When you have a vision like this as a brand, you need a partner who shares a similar vision and shares values. That is where the partnership with MediaTek has been very powerful for us,” he said. According to Patnaik, the partnership has evolved across successive generations of Find X devices, beginning with the Find X7 and continuing through devices powered by MediaTek’s Dimensity platforms.
“With Find X7, this collaboration started where software and hardware integration was taken in the best possible form. Then emerged Find X8 with Dimensity 9400, followed by Find X9 and Find X9 Pro with Dimensity 9500, which happened last year at the India Mobile Congress. Earlier this year, we had Find X9S with Dimensity 9500S,” he said.
Patnaik said the collaboration goes beyond the chipset itself, with engineers from both companies working together on optimisation. “Each step has meant our engineers are working side-by-side, tuning hardware and software together so that the chipset’s full potential is realised for a Find X user,” he said. He described the relationship between the two companies as one built around both innovation and trust. “It’s a relationship which is not only aided by innovation and the force, but also a lot by trust. That’s the reason you would see a Find X and a Dimensity getting launched year-on-year together,” Patnaik said.
