Redmi has announced that its newly launched Redmi Note 17 5G will go on sale in India from August 12 at a starting price of Rs 27,999. The smartphone will be available in Starlight Purple, Dark Night and Arctic Blue colour options. As part of the launch offers, customers can avail of up to Rs 3,000 instant discount on eligible ICICI Bank, Axis Bank, SBI, IDFC First Bank and Kotak Mahindra Bank credit card and credit card EMI transactions. Buyers making payments via UPI can also get an instant discount of Rs 1,500. Additionally, customers will receive three months of YouTube Premium Lite and a six-month Google One Standard plan with 200GB cloud storage at no extra cost.

The Redmi Note 17 5G comes with a massive 8,000mAh EV grade battery, paired with 45W fast charging support. The smartphone also supports 22.5W wired reverse charging, allowing users to charge compatible accessories and devices. Powering the smartphone is the Snapdragon 4 Gen 4 mobile platform, built on a 4nm process, coupled with up to 8GB RAM and 128GB internal storage, delivering smooth performance for everyday tasks, gaming and multimedia.
The smartphone features a 6.99 inch (17.75cm) TrueColour AMOLED display with Full HD+ resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate, up to 1,800 nits peak brightness and Corning Gorilla Glass 7i protection. It also includes an optical in-display fingerprint sensor, TÜV-certified eye protection features and HydroTouch 2.0 technology for improved touch response.
