As the world accelerates toward 2025, Arun Parameswaran, Managing Director – Sales at Salesforce India, has unveiled key technology predictions that promise to redefine the digital landscape. Central to his forecast is the emergence of agentic AI. “As we look ahead to 2025, it’s clear that the rapid evolution of technology, especially AI, will fundamentally reshape the way businesses operate and how customers engage with brands. Parameswaran highlighted that 2025 will mark the true dawn of agentic AI, powered by programs from the Government of India: “The future of agentic AI in India is poised for transformative growth, driven by several factors with programs like Digital India, Make in India, and National AI Strategy (AI for All) providing a strong foundation for AI adoption. However, its success will depend on balancing technological progress with ethical, social, and economic considerations. Collaborative efforts across government, industry, academia, and civil society will be essential to realize its potential responsibly and inclusively”.
He further added: “As we look ahead to 2025, the scope of these agents will expand dramatically, with multi-agent systems addressing complex challenges, such as simulating product launches or optimizing marketing campaigns. We will witness AI agents working collaboratively, transforming productivity and redefining problem-solving at an unprecedented scale. The future will not just be about using AI; it will be about creating and customizing agents that collaborate to understand and execute strategic tasks and decisions, both in personal and business contexts”.
