Enterprise software major SAP has appointed Gagandeep Singh as Vice President, Customer Experience (CX) Sales for India, strengthening its leadership team at a time when enterprises are accelerating investments in AI-led digital transformation and customer-centric business models.
Singh joins SAP after completing a 12-year tenure at Salesforce, where he held multiple leadership roles across strategic sales and business transformation. Most recently, he served as Director Sales – Transformation, a role he held from May 2022 to April 2026. Prior to that, he was Director Sales – Scale, Strategic Account Director, and Account Director, building extensive experience in driving enterprise growth and digital adoption across sectors. Announcing his new role, Singh described the move as the beginning of “a new chapter” after what he called “one of the most rewarding experiences” of his professional life.

“After an incredible 12-year journey at Salesforce, I’m excited to share that I’m beginning a new chapter with SAP to lead the CX Business for India,” Singh said. Reflecting on his transition, he acknowledged the impact of his previous organisation and professional network.
“The last decade has been shaped by inspiring customers, strong partnerships, exceptional colleagues, and countless opportunities to learn, lead, and grow. I’m deeply grateful to every customer who trusted, every mentor who challenged, and every teammate who believed in pushing boundaries together,” he added.
At SAP, Singh will lead the company’s Customer Experience business in India, an area that is becoming increasingly critical as organisations seek to unify front-office and back-office functions through integrated platforms powered by artificial intelligence and enterprise data.
Speaking on the broader opportunity ahead, Singh highlighted the growing convergence of business technology stacks. “We are entering a defining era where Customer Experience, ERP, Data, and AI are no longer separate conversations, but they are converging to fundamentally reshape how enterprises operate, engage, innovate, and grow,” he said. According to Singh, the next phase of enterprise transformation will be defined by how effectively businesses connect intelligence with execution.
“The future of business will belong to organisations that can connect intelligence with execution, where every customer interaction is powered by real-time data, resilient business processes, and AI-driven insights,” he noted. He further emphasised India’s growing importance in the global digital economy.
“India stands at the forefront of this transformation. The pace of innovation, ambition, and digital acceleration we are witnessing today is extraordinary, and I’m incredibly excited to work alongside customers, partners, and teams to help shape this next era of enterprise transformation and deliver meaningful business outcomes,” Singh said. Singh brings more than two decades of enterprise technology and business leadership experience to the role.
Before joining Salesforce in 2014, he held leadership positions at Tectura, where he served as Business Head and Business Head CRM–India, leading sales and pre-sales for CRM and ERP businesses. He also worked with Vinculum Group as Senior Business Manager – Sales, focusing on strategic accounts across manufacturing, healthcare, retail, consumer goods and logistics.
Earlier in his career, Singh held channel and partner development responsibilities at Dynamic Vertical Software, where he worked on expanding Microsoft Dynamics solutions across India, and began his enterprise software journey at GrapeCity, where he worked on Microsoft Dynamics and CRM solutions.
His appointment comes as SAP sharpens its focus on helping Indian enterprises modernise operations by integrating customer experience, ERP, cloud and AI capabilities into a unified transformation roadmap. “With immense gratitude for the journey so far, humility for the opportunity ahead, and deep excitement for what we can build together, here’s to new beginnings, bold ideas, stronger partnerships, and building the future together,” Singh said.
