In a significant leadership announcement, Gunjan Mody has been appointed as the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) at IIFL Home Loans. Mody brings to the role over 15 years of extensive experience in information security, IT audits, and compliance across leading organizations. Prior to joining IIFL Home Loans, Mody served as CISO at PNB Housing Finance Limited, where he spearheaded security initiatives for over three years, ensuring robust protection against evolving cyber threats. His career also includes an 11-year tenure at Deloitte as Associate Director, where he provided information security consulting to diverse clients, managed IT and IS audits, and led large-scale projects with a focus on risk mitigation and compliance. Earlier in his journey, Mody honed his expertise at Barclays, where he implemented critical information security controls, and at Indymac Bank, where he served as an offshore compliance officer.
As the new CISO, Mody is expected to play a pivotal role in strengthening the organisation’s cybersecurity posture, ensuring the protection of sensitive customer data, and navigating the complexities of digital transformation securely. His expertise will be crucial as the organization continues to expand its footprint in the highly competitive housing finance market.
