OnePlus is set to expand its affordable smartphone portfolio with the launch of the OnePlus N6x in India on 31 July at 12 PM, with the first sale scheduled to begin on 4 Augustat 12 PM. The upcoming smartphone is expected to focus on long battery life, smooth display performance and everyday usability, making it an attractive option in the budget smartphone segment.

The OnePlus N6x is expected to feature a 6.67-inch to 6.8-inch LCD display with a 120Hz refresh rate, offering smoother scrolling, gaming and multimedia experiences. The device will be available in Burgundy Red and Ice Bluecolour options and will also retain the increasingly rare 3.5mm headphone jack, catering to users who still prefer wired audio accessories. One of the biggest highlights of the smartphone is its 7,000mAh silicon-carbon battery, which OnePlus claims can deliver up to 2.5 days of battery life on a single charge under typical usage. The device will support 45W SuperVOOC fast charging, enabling users to quickly top up the large battery.

Powering the OnePlus N6x is expected to be the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 processor or an equivalent entry-level chipset. The smartphone is likely to launch with 4GB RAM and 128GB of internal storage, targeting users looking for reliable everyday performance for browsing, streaming, social media and casual gaming.

On the imaging front, the OnePlus N6x is tipped to feature a 50MP primary rear camera as part of a dual-camera setup. For selfies and video calls, the smartphone is expected to house an 8MP front-facing punch-hole camera. With a combination of a massive battery, high refresh rate display, fast charging support and OnePlus branding, the N6x is expected to strengthen the company’s presence in India’s highly competitive budget smartphone market. The smartphone is available in two colours namely Burgundy Red and Icy Blue. The smartphone can be purchased from Amazon from 4 August 2026 onwards.
