Customers Want Complete Solutions, Not Just Products: Pankaj Jha, MD, MAXHUB India

As enterprises increasingly embrace hybrid work and AI-powered collaboration, creating seamless meeting experiences has become a business priority rather than a technology upgrade. With the launch of its first Experience Centre in India and the introduction of AI-enabled U4 collaboration solutions, MAXHUB is looking to redefine how organisations communicate, collaborate and learn. In an exclusive conversation with Tech Achieve Media (TAM), Pankaj Jha, Managing Director, MAXHUB India, discusses the company’s strategy to eliminate technology clutter, deliver measurable ROI for enterprises, expand its experience centres across key cities and build the next generation of intelligent collaboration and education solutions.

TAM: What market pain points are you trying to address through MAXHUB Experience Center?

Pankaj Jha: When it comes to communication and collaboration solutions, one of the biggest pain points we hear from customers through our channel partners is that they want to experience a complete solution rather than just individual products. Customers don’t simply want to see a display or a camera; they want to understand how an entire meeting room functions. Creating real-world scenarios at a customer site with a single product is difficult. That is what inspired us to establish this Experience Center.

Here, customers can experience different collaboration environments from huddle rooms and mid-sized meeting rooms to large boardrooms and even town halls. Solutions like our Active LED displays cannot be demonstrated effectively at every customer location, so this centre enables organisations to explore and choose the right products and solutions based on their specific requirements before making an investment.

TAM: Enterprises often deal with technology clutter, buying cameras, microphones and collaboration hardware from multiple vendors. How is MAXHUB addressing this challenge?

Pankaj Jha: That’s a very relevant observation. Traditionally, meeting rooms have consisted of separate cameras, control panels, microphones and other hardware sourced from different vendors. The result is compatibility issues where USB connections fail, devices don’t communicate properly and 35 to 40 minutes of valuable meeting time gets wasted troubleshooting technology.

MAXHUB has solved this challenge through a unified communication solution that integrates the camera, microphone and collaboration software into a seamless ecosystem. The objective is to deliver a consistent and reliable boardroom experience. Our strategic alliance with Microsoft further strengthens this proposition. Our products are Microsoft Teams certified, and as Microsoft Teams Rooms continue to see greater adoption across India, customers can confidently deploy solutions that enable effortless collaboration. For us, collaboration is not limited to people sitting inside a meeting room. Every meeting room should support seamless internal and external communication without technology becoming a barrier.

TAM: The newly launched U4 series comes with AI-powered capabilities. How does AI help reduce meeting fatigue and improve collaboration?

Pankaj Jha: AI is making meetings significantly more intelligent and inclusive. Within a meeting room, it is important that every participant is seen and heard. Our AI-powered cameras automatically identify and focus on speakers, ensuring that every participant receives equal visibility and attention during discussions. Beyond enterprise collaboration, these AI capabilities also extend to education through our EasyClass software platform. Teachers can leverage AI to prepare classroom content more efficiently instead of spending hours creating learning material from scratch. Since a vast amount of knowledge already exists, AI helps organise and present it effectively, allowing educators to focus on delivering engaging lessons rather than content preparation. Ultimately, AI enhances both communication and learning experiences.

TAM: Infrastructure upgrades require significant capital expenditure. How do you convince CIOs and CFOs about the return on investment of MAXHUB solutions?

Pankaj Jha: Time itself delivers the biggest ROI. Every organisation has experienced meetings where cameras don’t function properly, microphones fail or content cannot be displayed. These technical issues reduce productivity and waste valuable executive time. MAXHUB eliminates those inefficiencies through integrated and reliable solutions. Many CIOs and CXOs are already using our products for their own conference rooms because they understand the operational value and productivity benefits.

We also recognise that every organisation has different requirements and budgets. Customers looking for premium boardroom experiences have one set of solutions, while those requiring affordable meeting rooms with occasional video conferencing have another. Similarly, organisations that already have displays installed but want to modernise their meeting rooms can simply upgrade with our collaboration solutions instead of replacing the entire infrastructure. This flexibility allows us to address virtually every customer requirement while delivering measurable business value.

TAM: Can we expect more MAXHUB Experience Centres across India?

Pankaj Jha: Absolutely. Our second Experience Centre will be launched in Bengaluru, followed quickly by another in Mumbai. These cities represent three of India’s most important enterprise technology markets, with a significant concentration of headquarters, corporate offices and large enterprises. Expanding our presence in these locations will help us engage customers more effectively and strengthen our market penetration.

TAM: After launching the U3 series and now the AI-powered U4 series, how is MAXHUB laying the foundation for a truly intelligent future?

Pankaj Jha: Innovation at MAXHUB is continuous, but our focus is always on ensuring that products solve real requirements in the Indian market. Our organisation is involved in multiple technology domains, including robotics and smart equipment, and we are now looking at bringing advanced AI-powered education solutions to India. One exciting area is an AI Education Box that goes beyond evaluating student performance. It is designed to measure educator performance inside the classroom as well.

The system can generate detailed reports at the end of every class, analysing factors such as classroom engagement, whether attention was distributed equally across students, the number and quality of questions asked, the relevance of responses and overall student feedback. We believe this takes educational technology to the next level, and MAXHUB aims to be a pioneer in introducing such intelligent classroom solutions.

TAM: Finally, what message would you like to share with your channel partners and customers?

Pankaj Jha: My message is simple, which is experience a MAXHUB product firsthand.

Having worked with this organisation for the last three years, I can confidently say that our products deliver best-in-class quality, backed by a strong nationwide support network and excellent after-sales service. We work closely with our channel partners across the country, and we encourage them to experience our solutions, demonstrate them to customers and reach out to us whenever support is needed. We are always happy to partner with them in delivering better collaboration experiences.
